Global Marketing Manager Kenneth Oh

Kenneth Oh received his Ph.D. in bioorganic chemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara. His doctoral research focused on the synthesis of fluorescence-based peptide beacons for characterizing binding dynamics. After completing his doctorate, he co-founded a biotechnology company that developed re-engineered viral capsids as a drug delivery platform. At Bio-Rad Laboratories, he oversees the electrophoresis and western blotting product portfolio.

Field Application Specialist Sahel Mohebbi

Sahel Mohebbi is a chemist with expertise in proteomics, immunology, and cancer biology. She earned her Ph.D. in Bioinorganic Chemistry from the University of Georgia, where she focused on the spectroscopic characterization of iron-sulfur proteins and uncovered a new pathway for [Fe-S] cluster assembly on recipient proteins. She then conducted research at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, investigating the effect of diet on immune response, gut microbiota, and liver cancer development. As a Senior Proteomics Field Application Scientist at Bio-Rad Laboratories, Sahel supports researchers in the development, optimization, and implementation of various proteomic techniques.
